Privacy is not a compliance afterthought — it is a first principle of how we build. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what we never do.

  • This website runs no analytics, no trackers, no advertising pixels.
  • We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
  • Your data resides in Canada. We minimize what we hold and delete what we no longer need.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by RixBot Technologies Inc., a New Brunswick corporation, carrying on business as elect-rix Technology Solutions (the brand "elect-rix"). References to "we", "us", or "our" mean RixBot Technologies Inc. We are a Canadian technology consultancy. Our principal place of business is New Brunswick, Canada.

2. What We Collect — and What We Don't

Browsing this site Nothing identifying. No analytics, no cookies for tracking, no fingerprinting. Standard server/CDN request logs may exist transiently at our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
Contacting us by email Your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message (e.g. name, organization, the nature of your inquiry).
Engaging our services Information necessary to deliver and invoice the engagement (contact details, scope, and any materials you provide). Handled under the engagement contract and NDA.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, behavioural tracking, social media tracking pixels, or session-replay tools on this site.

3. Why We Collect It (Purpose)

  • To respond to your inquiry and correspond with you.
  • To provide, schedule, and invoice services you request.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
  • To protect the site and our systems from abuse or attack.

We collect only what is reasonably necessary for these purposes — the principle of data minimization.

4. Email and Hosting Providers

To deliver this website and route email, we rely on third-party infrastructure providers:

  • Website hosting / CDN: Cloudflare Pages serves this static site. Cloudflare may process limited request metadata (such as IP address) transiently for delivery and security.
  • Email routing: messages to addresses at elect-rix.tech (e.g. hello@, contact@) are routed to our mailbox provider. Treat email as you would any internet email — do not send sensitive credentials or secrets unsolicited.

These providers act on our behalf for the limited purpose of operating the site and email. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.

5. How Long We Keep It

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). Inquiry correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is deleted once it is no longer useful. Upon completion of an engagement, client data is returned or destroyed per the written instruction in the engagement contract.

6. When We Disclose Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it only:

  • To service providers strictly necessary to operate (hosting, email, payment/accounting), bound to protect it.
  • When required by Canadian law, a court order, or lawful authority.
  • With your consent, or as set out in an engagement contract you have signed.

7. Your Rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law, you may:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Withdraw consent or ask us to delete information we no longer need.

To exercise any of these, email contact@elect-rix.tech. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Security

We apply access control on a need-to-know basis, do not use shared credentials, and keep client work in isolated, access-controlled environments. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we design to collect little so there is little to lose.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. The effective date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
